Extreme Faith Camp

July 14-18, 2025 | Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center in Trego, WI

Extreme Faith Camp (EFC) is a week-long, high-adventure, Catholic camp that includes daily Mass, the opportunity to go to confession, Eucharistic Adoration, various prayer opportunities, and of course fun, summer activities, such as swimming in the lake (huge inflatable included), archery, laser tag, zip lining, and so much more!

EFC takes place at Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center in Trego, WI, which is about 2.5 hours from OLG. We will be joining several other parishes for EFC during the week of July 14-18, 2025. NOTE: High School students serving on Prayer Team and Extreme Team will arrive on Saturday, July 12th.

Cost is $400 for Middle Schoolers and $450 for High School Leaders

Join us for coffee and a matinee of "Tolkien" at the Open Window Theater!

Since 2011, OWT has been committed to telling relevant stories of faith, hope, and reconciliation, hosting productions with the mission to show a window to the Divine. We will meet for coffee in the OLG dining room at 9:00 AM before taking a coach bus to OWT in Inver Grove Heights.  We will return to OLG by 1:30 PM.  

$65/person includes ticket, bus, and morning hospitality. Tickets are limited! Invite a friend and register online by February 28.

First Saturday Devotions

First Saturdays of the month at 8:30 AM
OLG Church and Dining Room

Join us on the first Saturdays (October through May) as we pray the rosary, go to Mass and confession, and meditate on the mysteries of the rosary.

Upcoming Dates:
March 1, April 5, May 3

Schedule:
8:30 AM: Mass (Church)
9:00 AM: Confessions and Rosary (Church)
Refreshments and fellowship in the Dining Room until 11:30 AM.

Background on this event: Our Lady promised to Sr. Lucia, one of the visionaries, that she would assist, at the moment of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation if we do the following with the intention of making reparation to Mary for the offenses committed against her. For five consecutive months on the first Saturday: attend Mass and receive Holy Communion, recite a five decade Rosary, go to Confession seven days before or after, and meditate on one of the 15 mysteries of the rosary while keeping Our Lady company for 15 minutes.

Birthday Card Ministry for the Incarcerated

To serve the poor, the imprisoned, the hungry, the forgotten is to serve Jesus – Father Kevin Finnegan

Birthday cards are an attainable way for parishioners interested in a meaningful way to minister to the imprisoned and forgotten. Training is provided and includes guidelines to ensure privacy for the writers and recipients. RSVPs appreciated but not required at 952-929-3317.

OLG's partnership with Twin Cities Prison Ministry, the coordinating body for prison ministry for the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis, provides many opportunities to serve the incarcerated and returned citizens that include: prayer companions, pen pals, extraordinary minister/assist priest with Mass, OCIA, bible study, mentoring and much more.

Celebrate Marriage Night

9th Annual Celebrate Marriage Night
Friday, February 14, 6:00 - 9:30 PM

The 9th Annual Celebrate Marriage Dinner will kick off with Mass, followed by dinner, and end with a talk by Twin Cities Catholic speaker Ryan O'Hara.

Ryan will speak about four holy habits to build for when difficulties arise.  He will share from his own experience of the love God has shown him and his wife through 25+ years of marriage and how these four holy habits (gratitude, mercy, prayer, and helpfulness) have helped them through life’s ups and downs. Thank you for joining us for this great event!

Cost is $50 per couple or $25 per newlywed couple (for those married 5 years or less).

About Our Speaker:

With 25+ years of ministry experience with college students and young adults, Ryan O’Hara continues to serve the Church across the country through speaking, consulting, and podcasting.  A trusted and sought after preacher and teacher he has spoken to thousands of people around the world.  Ryan is passionate about seeing Catholics center their lives on Jesus Christ and become disciples who generously live and share their faith with others. He has a B.A. in History from William Jewell College and an M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. Ryan and his wife Jill live in West St Paul, MN, and are parents to four teenage and young adult sons.
