Speaker: Dr. Pamela Patnode
Title: What is the Eucharist and Why Should I Care?
Description: Many of us recognize that the Lord’s Day and the Eucharist are important – or, at least, they are supposed to be. But in all honesty, it can be hard to know how to fit them into our busy lives. This presentation takes a Biblical look at the Eucharist and the Sabbath, and offers practical ideas for busy people to honor the Lord’s Day with greater intention. In addition, current research will be shared that shows the surprising connections between worship and overall happiness and well-being. Come learn about the Eucharist and why it matters in our daily lives. (for teens and adults).

Grief Support
Thursdays January through March
Starts Thursday, January 2, 2024
4:30 - 6:00 PM | Frassati Room
Coping with the death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult challenges we face. Understanding the grief process and sharing with other individuals in a supportive and caring environment can lead to acceptance, personal growth and recovery.
We invite all those experiencing grief to join the Edina Coalition for Grief Support series held at OLG January through March in the Frassati room. Each session begins with presentations from professionals, followed by small groups for support and connection. Groups are organized by individual loss: spouse loss, child loss, family/friend loss and are led by trained facilitators.
You may join at anytime during a series. All are welcome. No registration is required. Click here for more details.
