Donate to Our Lady of Grace

Stewardship is the intentional, grateful and loving response of a Christian disciple – a way of life that recognizes, receives and shares God’s gifts and charisms for the good of all, living the mission of making Jesus Christ known and loved.

”Give, and it shall be given to you.” Luke 6:38

Stewardship Giving

Stewardship giving (tithing) funds our mission of making Jesus Christ known and loved by providing programming for faith formation, sacramental preparation, liturgies and all daily operational costs of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and School, including grounds, staff, facilities upkeep, maintenance and utilities.

Stock Donation Giving

A gift of appreciated securities may provide you with greater tax advantages than a gift of cash. Donors can make a stock gift by contacting Charles Schwab. In order to ensure that the donor is properly credited with the gift to Our Lady of Grace in an expeditious manner, please following the steps listed in the attachment.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many organizations and companies match donations made by their current and retired employees to nonprofits. Check this Matching Gift List to find out if your employer matches donations, and maximize the impact of your donation. File your donation via your organization’s donation program.

Donor Advised Fund Giving

A donor advised fund works like a charitable checking account. When you make a gift into your fund, you receive an immediate tax deduction. Then, you decide at your own pace where you’d like to give. While you’re deciding, your fund is invested and grows tax-free. With a donor advised fund at the Catholic Community Foundation of Minnesota, you can have peace of mind knowing your gifts are invested in alignment with your Catholic faith. That’s about as smart as giving gets. A donor advised fund at CCF may benefit you in a number of ways:

  • It’s an efficient, consolidated system for managing charitable giving.

  • All gifts to your donor advised fund are tax-deductible.

  • A donor advised fund can help facilitate tax-efficient giving strategies like “bunching”.

  • When you make gifts of appreciated assets, such as stock, shares in a business, or real estate, you can avoid paying taxes on the capital gains.

  • Simplified tax preparation. At the end of the year, you’ll receive a gift summary – no more chasing down receipts.

  • You’ll have the ability to name your fund — or give anonymously — without having to establish a Private Family Foundation.
